Pacific West Land, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Retail Junior Asset Manager to join our team. Pacific West Land researches, analyzes, and invests in retail centers across the US. We focus on value-add properties that will benefit from our team of real estate professionals to increase value and maximize returns for our investors. This position will be responsible for a portfolio of Commercial properties, including business plans, third party management, budgeting, and reporting. To sustain our rapid growth, we need candidates who bring innovative thinking and thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Implementation and oversight of each retail property’s business plan and budget to achieve property success.
- Responsible for conducting market research, monitoring tenant performance to maximize returns.
- Preparation of periodic financial reports, documents, and budgets to support internal decisionmakers, including Partners and executive team.
- Oversight of outside property management firms and service providers to ensure optimal property performance.
- Collaborate with the Asset Management Team in evaluating, acquiring, closing new investment opportunities.
- Communicate with accuracy on routine operational issues, monitor performance, manage leasing, capital improvements and budgeting.
Job Qualifications:
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Math, or relevant field.
Additional Skills:
- 3-5 years’ experience in retail asset management is preferred, but not required.
- Solid understanding of equity, debt, finance, and retail properties.
- The ability to research and analyze data, including ability to assess property condition, marketing strategies, and operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Must possess a high standard of professionalism and integrity—the ability to work independently, set priorities, follow through and make recommendations with analyses to support actions.
- Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Superior analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and all MS office applications.
- Ability to represent PWL in professional manner while achieving property goals.
