Tuckahoe Bike Shop is seeking qualified new team members to assist us with Retail Sales at our various store locations. We are looking for team members in Tuckahoe, Ocean City, Sea Isle City, and Avalon. Please let us know in which town(s) you're willing or able to work.
An Ideal Candidate Should Have:
- Customer Service Skills
- Communication Skills
- Basic Understanding of Computers & Tablets
- Positive Attitude
- Prior Retail Sales Experience is a plus, but not required
- Some Prior Knowledge of Bicycles OR Willingness to Learn the basics
- Reliable Transportation to Work
Daily Duties Include...
- Greet Customers in a welcoming and friendly demeanor
- Assist Customers with finding the right bicycle or product
- Answer Customer Questions in person and over the phone
- Utilize Retail POS system (And Rental Software at Participating Stores)
- Collaborate with other staff to provide top notch service
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Availability & Hours
- We are hiring for full-time and part-time Retail Sales Associates.
- We are flexible with scheduling but please let us know your weekend availability. Our busiest days fall on the weekend. This often means that our team needs more staff on duty for Saturdays, for example. Weekend shifts are not required, but ideally we would love a candidate with at least some weekend availability. If you have any questions regarding scheduling, please feel free to ask us during the interviewing process.

We currently operate full service stores in Tuckahoe, Ocean City, Sea Isle City, Avalon, and Northfield. In addition to our retail stores, our company also includes a seasonal rental division known as Surf Buggy Centers.
Surf Buggy Centers has been serving shore vacationers in Cape May County, New Jersey since 1984. Our company provides a wide variety of rental equipment such as bicycles, mobility scooters, beach equipment, linens, etc. We offer rental equipment by delivery as well as bicycle rentals at our walk-up locations in Ocean City, Sea Isle City, and Avalon. We are looking forward to taking on our 39th season!
