LitePoint is a leading validation company working with some the biggest names in consumer electronics to ensure wireless communications work their best and live up to consumer’s expectations. We are based in the heart of Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA) where the leading edge of new wireless technologies are constantly being developed.

Responsibilities

As part of LitePoint Engineering team you will be responsible for:

• Board level design of RF circuitry to meet system specifications
• Work with Layout designers to implement your schematics capture designs
• Work with Mechanical engineers to ensure compliance of thermal, board outline and interfaces
• Work with Firmware engineers to coordinate firmware requirements and constrains
• Work with production engineers for testability (DFT)
• Proto boards bring up – Hands on
• Troubleshoot board and system level issues
• Develop/write test scripts – Board level and System level
• Provide Hardware engineering support to NPI (New Product Introduction)
• Participate in future products and technology discussions

Basic Qualifications & Skills

• 
  BS in Electrical engineering or related field
• 2+ years experience in the following fields:

• RF board level design
• Hands on– using RF test and measurement equipment
• Schematics capture and layout CAD.

• Basic knowledge of RF communication protocols BT, WiFi, Cellular
• Basic knowledge of RF regulatory standards
