Job Title: RN Director of Nursing - Assisted Living
Job Summary: Alderwood Assisted living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Director of Nursing to oversee the nursing services provided to our community. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality care is provided to our residents, while also ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will show compassion with a strong clinical background, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional service to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Management of clinical systems to ensure continuity of care
- Clinical assessments of long-term residents conditions and changes in their conditions
- Oversee the Med Tech staff, including training, monitoring and supervision
- Implement policies and procedures related to nursing care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Delegation of Diabetic management
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Respond professionally and promptly to resident and family concerns and requests for assistance
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role in a senior living or healthcare setting would be great, but if you’re a new nurse with a passion for geriatrics and the willingness to commit to learning our systems, we are willing to invest in the training you need to do this job
- Strong clinical background, with experience in geriatrics and dementia care
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of state assisted living regulations
- Proficient in Point Click Care and Microsoft Office would be a big plus!

Pay: $45.00 - $49.00 per hour
