Anytime Fitness Fairmount is seeking an experienced salesperson with a strong fitness background to join our team! At Anytime Fitness, we cater to a wide variety of demographics, and you will have the opportunity to help members of all age ranges, backgrounds, and goal types. More importantly, as a part of a small, close-knit team that focuses on member satisfaction over making a specific sales quota, you will feel like you are truly making a positive change in our members' lives. You will also be able to expand into additional roles as desired to gain marketable experience.

Our club is known for the talent and quality of its staff, and, as a member of that team, you will enjoy above average compensation and the ability to flex schedules. Since this role focused on seeing the most members and upselling training related services the availability desired is afternoon-evening (2PM-7PM), with potential weekends.

The position can start either part time or full time depending on experience level and availability. Because of this, we consider it essential that you have a solid background in personal fitness. Our staff represent our gym, industry, and ethos. We want to make sure you "live the lifestyle", because your work with us will inspire others to do the same.

We have a need for additional members on our personal training staff, and your main sales role will be entirely focused on enhancing personal training sales. If you are a currently certified personal trainer, that is advantageous, but it is not required to apply. Significant fitness experience is sufficient.

If you are selected for the job, compensation will be through: PT sales commission, membership sales commission, hourly wages for desk hours, and direct personal training session commission.

IDEAL CANDIDATE CHARACTERISTICS:

*An outgoing, confident, bright personality with strong people skills.

*Ability to work well in a small business setting, closely with your teammates.

*Strong work ethic; initiative-taking problem solving and willingness to create business by engaging potential clients through phone calls and friendly (but not "salesy") organic chats with members in the club and during sign ups and tours.

*As noted above, afternoon and evening availability (2PM-7PM) on weekdays, and/or weekend availability, are ideal. Additional availability some or all weekdays from 8AM-12PM or at other times of the day would be a plus.

*Interest in becoming a Personal Trainer if not one already.

*Desire to learn about the facility operations and proactive willingness to help out if something happens while training during un-staffed member-services hours.

*Genuinely excited at the thought of working in sales and fitness and engaging with current and prospective members to help them be the best versions of themselves!

REQUIRED:

*Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification from a high-level organizations (or able to obtain before hiring date).

PREFERRED:

(Any of):

*B.S. in Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.

*Direct PT Sales Experience.

*Past Personal or Group Training experience.

*Current PT Certification.

*Familiarity with photography editing software, such as photoshop, and familiarity with social media--particularly any experience creating social media content for a business.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
