Greeter – Toyota Chula Vista

Job Summary:

Toyota Chula Vista is looking to hire an outgoing and customer service oriented individual to work in the sales department. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain relationships with our customers by responding to inquiries and documenting different actions. The Greeter will be responsible for greeting all sales customers and controlling the flow of vehicles in and out of the sales department.

Responsibilities:

• Greet every Guest to the Dealership with a warm welcome, provide hospitality and determine the nature of their visit
• Monitor the new and used car lot to manage the traffic and ensure every guest is being assisted
• Document every customer visit as either a Walk-in, Be-Back or Appointment
• Direct customers to the correct department, notify the appropriate salesperson that a customer is waiting, or introduce the customer to a salesperson.
• Keep customer lounge tidy and restock amenities.
• Answer basic customer inquiries. Refer more extensive inquiries to the appropriate person.
• Serve as Phone Receptionist during the course of each shift providing telephone coverage, as well.
• Serve as clerical back-up.
• Maintain professional appearance.
• Must be willing to work outside during all types of weather
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be customer focused with the ability to analyzeinformation
• Must be organized with the ability to multi-task andprioritize.
• Strong verbal communication skills are required.

Required skills and abilities:

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent active listening skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout theretail space.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
