Specifically, the right candidate needs to be an expert with Salesforce and have the ability to work with the multiple integrated technologies in our Salesforce ecosystem. We’re looking for someone who wants to make their mark on a growing enterprise Sales Cloud environment (150+ users). We are seeking someone with a voice who wants to be the resident expert on how our Salesforce instance works, how and when to use other applications, how to support our end users and make recommendations for improvements, and expertly execute updates. Responsibilities

  • The Salesforce Administrator manages the ongoing use, development and optimization of Salesforce.com, including CPQ and other integrations. This includes responsibility for users, profiles, roles, permission sets, custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, flows etc. and CPQ elements (quote templates, products and related configurations)
  • Data management, including deduplication and import/export/updates
  • System security (org-wide security, roles, profiles & sharing) in cooperation and accordance with our corporate policies, certifications and procedures
  • Troubleshoot system problems for end users, including integration issues
  • Keep appraised of Salesforce updates and make recommendations for new feature adoption as well as address impacts of feature changes (e.g. workflow retirement)
  • Act as the gatekeeper for system enhancement requests to ensure that they are in line with our business goals and keep changes from breaking downstream functionality
  • Work with Marketing for campaign management software integration and the optimization of a Martech stack to facilitate corporate growth.
  • Establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
  • Understand and provide advice on which tools are best suited to each task, with line of sight towards a best of breed selection process
  • Liaise with third party integration vendors for problem-solving and optimization
  • Proactively anticipate future issues, and evaluate and make recommendations to improve our Salesforce environment to meet our needs as we grow and scale
  • Various ad hoc projects


Qualifications

  • Current Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a Lightning platform, preferably at a SaaS software company
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Salesforce CPQ
  • 1+ years of experience supporting Martech offering (e.g. Pardot or Hubspot)
  • Expert level user of flows
  • Knowledge and understanding of data models, reporting and visualization capabilities highly preferred
  • Experience with managed packages preferred
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and communicate expectations
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Proven ability to design and implement best practices and/or new processes
  • Positive, confident approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and identify need for additional resources when applicable

General knowledge of Apex and Visualforce a plus
