Express Employment is working closely with a well-known meat processing and packaging facility located in La Crosse, WI. This company is on the hunt for qualified candidates for their sanitation department that exhibit strong teamwork skills and attention to detail! These are long-term, full-time opportunities.

Wage & Hours:

2nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 5pm-2am, $18/hour

Packaging responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Cleaning office, production, processing, restrooms, and lounge areas
• Prepare machinery for deep cleaning, removing materials from machines
• Perform scheduled maintenance duties and special projects as assigned
• Obtain and apply appropriate cleaning solutions to surfaces as outlined
• Maintain and abide by regulations and standards
• Assist packers manually assembling boxes/cases as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Packaging qualifications include:

• HSD or GED preferred
• Previous sanitation/cleaning experience in an industrial environment is preferred
• Ability to sit, stand, twist, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 40lbs throughout shift
• Must possess exemplary time management and communication skills
• Knowledge of hand tools, floor sweepers, and forklifts are preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
