Current has completed the acquisition of Hubbell® Incorporated’s commercial and industrial (C&I) lighting business, creating a premier end-to-end lighting solutions business. We have an enhanced distribution footprint and digital tools to service customer needs more easily, quickly and efficiently, and strong new product pipelines and shared patented technologies to deliver added value to customers. Primary office locations are Cleveland, OH and Greenville, SC, with centers of expertise locations in Austin, TX, Rolling Meadows, IL and Quebec, Canada. Manufacturing operations reside in Hendersonville, NC, Pittsburgh, PA, Plympton, MA, Christiansburg, VA, Acuna, MX and Tijuana, MX.
The SAP IT Finance Manager will have responsibilities for coordinating all IT related activities in Finance, Financial Planning, Controlling, and Financial Reporting to ensure an effective and efficient operating environment. This role will work with various other departments within the organization, utilizing their knowledge of our business processes, to ensure the IT systems (SAP ERP) meet all business requirements. Leads the functional design & management of new & existing solutions and tools. Leads the creation & presentation of estimates for overall cost, skill, effort & timeline for new & existing solutions from a functional perspective. Works with their direct reports team, project managers to plan, execute, test, pilot and rollout solutions and tools. Identifies & builds project teams via matrix support organizations to ensure appropriate skills & experience are represented for success. Monitors project progress & status to ensure quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery. Ensures compliance with standards, processes & best practices as established. Collaborates with peers to create roadmaps & plans. Demonstrates solutions to internal clients from C-level to end user with a focus on Financial and Controlling.
- Own the design, configuration and technical solution architecture in the areas of SAP FICO- GL, AP, AR, FA, CO-CCA, CO-PC, CO-PA and integration with SD and MM. Ability to conduct system design sessions and align to operations processes. Experience with Central Finance is preferred.
- Align Financial Processes/Systems to strategic company objectives and needs.
- Build strong partnerships with Finance, Global process owners, Shared services, Master data team, and key individuals within other cross functional organizations.
- Production support lead - Manage month end and year end close costing activities and coordinate with cross functional teams for cost roll up and annual planning.
- Ensure project requirements and completion with respect to constraints and deadlines
- Identification, analysis, and escalation of FICO-related constraints, risks and issues
- Working experience in Inventory management, master data governance, interface design and supply chain finance related end to end processes design.
- Gather business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of custom programs, testing, co-ordination of transports to production and post go live support
- Integrate FICO with all other SAP modules, and with existing legacy systems
- Candidate must have experience in designing accounting interfaces between ERP systems and must be able to understand accounting flow of transactions
- Identify new or improved business process opportunities, and evaluates them for adoption into the ERP environment
- The ideal candidate should have experience working a FICO stack with SAP and Onstream, Concur, Open Text, ADP, Vertex & Tax Provisioning Systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements as it pertains to different countries such Golden Tax for China, CFDI for Mexico & E-invoicing for Hungary & Italy preferred.
Basic Characteristics
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience and education.
- Minimum of five years of FICO experience with at least one full systems implementation lifecycles.
Desired Characteristics
- At least five plus years of FI-AR-AP-New GL, CO-Product costing design, implementation and support experience.
- Completed solution configuration for all areas of own FI/CO sub-domain.
- Skills required for this role include Material Ledger (Split valuation & Costing), legacy Inventory load by batch in multiple currencies, variance calculations, COPA, Intercompany, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Cost Center Assessments and Distributions. Need to have COPA and costing experience.
- Use of structured systems development and project management methodologies.
- Operated in multi-project, matrix managed environment.
- Broad understanding of business processes and solutions and solid understanding of how technology is utilized within FI/CO area.
- Extensive understanding of solution design and development methods and tools.
- Broad functional and process knowledge in sub-domain area.
- Excellent business writing, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proven leadership and management experience
Compensation
The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is 140,000-160,000.
