Job Title: SAP S/4 Deployment Data Migration Project Manager

Location: South San Francisco, CA

Job Type: 6+ Months

Description:

• The Data Migration Project Manager will be part of the S/4 HANA Deployment team for the region US. The Data Migration Project Manager will manage the migration activities of all the master data and appropriate transaction data from the legacy systems to the new S/4 System across all the end-to-end value streams.
• This role is highly cross-functional and will be required to partner and work across various work streams and stakeholders within the deployment program.

The primary responsibilities include:

• Drive the data definition, planning, extract, transform, and load strategy for all master data and appropriate transactional data in the local affiliate.
• Maintain and Manage the project plans for all the activities under Data Migration Data extraction, Data cleansing, and Data loading.
• Lead the activities to identify, extract, clean, map, and load both the master data sets & transactional data sets from multiple sources into the SAP system
• Triage any issues related to Data extraction, profiling, cleansing and mapping, and loading to ensure progress towards the project milestones.
• Coordinate the build of repeatable data load and migration process with internal workstreams and Data Migration partners.
• Track and manage Functional and Technical data deliverables for accuracy and quality
• Engage and collaborate with various Business Data owners and functional data owners to ensure successful outcomes
• Manage communication with project stakeholders on a predefined cadence
• Manage risks and optimize for efficiencies and meeting timelines.
• Expertise in the Change Control Process for the deployment (e.g. schedule, scope, timeline) and ensure that it complies with GMP change control processes.

The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications:

• Appropriate University degree and 7 years of project management work experience.
• Experience with ETL and Data migration specific to SAP
• Good knowledge of SAP data objects in the supply chain, finance, manufacturing
• In-depth understanding of the Project Management Methodology (PMM).
• Demonstrates collaborative approach and is a good team player
• Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in influencing, negotiating, and effective global collaboration.
• Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of a complex, matrix organization.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully direct, coordinate, and strategically integrate multiple streams of information and activities.
• Highly structured and organized
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Pay: $62.79 - $79.71 per hour
