Essential functions of Scheduler

-Responsible for the development, preparation and delivery of the work schedules for the Nursing Department. Works in collaboration with Nurse Manager and Supervisors to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.

-Provide daily/weekly staffing rosters to Nursing office in a timely manner.

-Assists in maintaining accurate attendance records weekly including record of sick, vacation or LOA time.

-Maintains current licenses/certification status of the Licensed Staff and CNA’s

-Perform in absence of the Receptionist or Administrative Secretary as necessary

-Any other office duties or secretarial tasks assigned

-Works scheduled hours as assigned

Essential functions of Medical Supply Clerk

-Purchases and insures proper storage of routine medical supplies and disposable items.

-Maintains a current inventory of all supplies and resident/patient unit equipment via scanning/computer.

-Perform weekly checks of supply storage areas on nursing units to ensure rotation of sterile and non-sterile items as well as insure against over stocking.

-Distributes all medical supplies and equipment as requested by nursing units, compiles specific unit usage reports.

-Responsible for materials management, i.e flow of materials and supplies as well as control of quantities issued.

-Maintains inventory database.

-Tracks usage of Medicare supplies/Managed Care patient supplies separate from nursing units.

-Provides administration with reports of supplies delivered, enteral reports, etc. on monthly basis.

Essential Responsibilities

· Assure confidentiality of all resident/patient information. Complies with access level and minimum necessary guidelines for use of (PHI) Protected Health Information. Please refer to the Minimum Necessary policy and guidelines for this position.

· Manage time efficiently, adhere to scheduled hours and minimize unscheduled absence. Consistently present an appropriate professional appearance as required by the dress code.

· Adhere to all safety policies including reporting/removing hazards immediately. Report all unusual occurrences promptly. Use equipment and supplies in an appropriate and cost-effective manner.

· Attend all required in-service programs. Responsible for information contained in the employee handbook.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1.00 per hour
