Licensed Counselor Job Description:

Are you looking to make a difference in a young person’s life? Health Readiness Resources is looking for a licensed Counselor to provide Therapeutic Counseling Services to Kaibeto Boarding School in Kaibeto, AZ.

Health Readiness Resources partners with Kaibeto Boarding School to provide therapeutic counseling services to students K-8th grade.

Counselors play a vital role in helping at risk children and their families with the support services they truly need. This is an opportunity for you to reach them where and when you are most needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide face-to-face individual, small, and large group counseling to students with Individual Education Plans citing counseling as a related service needed for their own academic well-being and safety.
• Provide regularly scheduled therapeutic services in areas such as anger management, grief, behavioral, and social issues.
• Administrating, scoring, and interpreting of evidenced based assessment tools.
• Conduct additional assessment to identify student needs.
• Participation in multi-disciplinary team meetings.
• Amend IEP’s and recommend appropriate referrals and handoffs based on your experienced differential clinical skills to community resources according to the needs of the student.
• Provide IEP reviews and input on student’s progress and other related counseling service needs.
• Developing and/or using approved counseling, training and education programs and materials.
• Communicating information regarding trends and issues at school.
• Documentation in Electronic Health Records System

· Complete monthly reports and other required paperwork.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Master’s degree or higher in the Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD)
• Licensure to practice at the independent practice level (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psychologist) in the state where you provide services.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to pass a background check for employment and clear the Central Registry Check Reports of child abuse and neglect.

PART TIME

- Travel benefits such as lodging, and mileage are provided.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $ 35.00- 45.00 per hour.

Health Readiness Resources’ pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
