Smyths Toys are now recruiting Seasonal Customer Service Representatives to join our Head Office team based in Galway for flexible, full-time work.

We want enthusiastic, solution focused Customer Service Representatives who enjoy talking to customers on a daily basis and providing them with the highest level of customer care.
APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK 4 OR 5 DAYS FULL DAYS (30 OR 37.5HOURS) PER WEEK UNTIL JANUARY 2023 TO BE CONSIDERED, THEREFORE THIS POSITION WILL NOT SUIT THOSE RETURNING TO FULL-TIME EDUCATION IN SEPTEMBER 2022.
Shift Patterns: We are flexible and open 7 days per week. Our operating hours Mon-Sat 9am- 5:30pm & Sun 10am- 6pm. To be considered for this position you must be available to work 4 or 5 full days per week (min. 30hours per week). You can choose the days that suit you best.
Contract Type: Temporary Fixed Term
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Salary: €24,000 annually pro rata (+ Sunday premium if applicable)
Please note that this is a full-time role based at our Galway Head Office.
Located in our Head Office in Galway, the key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring that our customers are provided with a high quality level of customer service over a range of communication channels, but primarily across phone and email channels.
Responding to customer queries in a timely manner, and in accordance with company procedures.
Using your product and system knowledge to solve problems for customers
Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always
Providing administrative support as and when required
Adhering strictly to data protection and confidentiality laws
Working towards daily performance targets as outlined by the Management Team.
Working as part of a team to achieve high customer service satisfaction.
The ideal candidates will possess the following skills:
Previous customer service experience
Previous admin experience - ideally working in a role where IT systems were used daily
Professional manner
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be highly organised with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to multitask
