Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Coordinator of Field Experiences is to promote the mission of the University of Toledo through experiential learning opportunities for all students in the Judith Herb College of Education. This seasonal position is responsible for establishing and maintaining external relationships with area schools. The Coordinator must be capable of working extensively with students, faculty members, college administrators, PK-12 educators and schools/agency administrators.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in field relating to teaching or teaching preparation
- Teaching experience
- 1-3 years of work experience with individuals who have diverse learning styles
- Supervisory experience, preferred
Communication and other skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Creative problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent organizational talents
- Ability to prioritize tasks
