Job description
ColorWorks Paint & Decorating Centers, a division of Concord Building & Design Center, is seeking a reliable van driver to deliver paint and other products to our customers and to handle transfers to and from our 9 retail stores. The work involves pulling and loading orders properly, ensuring proper forms are completed, delivering merchandise in a safe and timely manner, and other tasks related to store/warehouse operations. The individual who serves in this position will be a highly valued member of our team and must be able to interact positively with customers.
This is a seasonal position through August/September.
Qualifications:
1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Must possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record from the RMV.
3. Must be available to work all scheduled hours. Generally 7-4, but flexibility is important.
4. Must be able to work Monday through Friday. May require occasional Saturdays.
5. Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs frequently during the day and up to 100lbs on occasion.
6. Ability to operate material handling equipment (Hand truck, fork truck, pallet jack, etc).
a. Can provide Fork Truck training/license.
7. Ability to operate a computer.
8. Must be comfortable driving a cargo van or a box truck.
9. Must keep the vehicle neat, organized and clean.
