Description:

Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Part-time Security Officer to join our team!

The main focus of the Security Officer is the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property .

Schedule: Part-time up to 30 hours/week
Schedule: Days (flexibility to work longer days for certain scheduled shifts is required)

Security Officer

• Is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients, families, visitors, and property.

• Is responsible for fire prevention and initial response measures.

• Maintains safety practices in the area of their assignment.

• Facilitates metal detector screening process, including walk-through magnetometer and hand-held device, to determine the presence of weapons and contraband, as well as morgue release process . Metal Detector screening process is conducted at hospital main entrance, emergency walk-in entrance and emergency ambulance entrance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalency (Required)

• Security and/or Public Safety experience (Preferred)
