Accounting/Senior

Join the Davie Kaplan team as a Manager or senior in the tax department and be part of a leading firm of Certified Public Accountants and business advisors. Responsibilities

• Develop strong working relationships with clients through personal attention and timeliness of service

• Timely and accurate review/preparation of:

o Tax returns (including multi-state) for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts and individuals

o Individual and corporate tax planning projections

o Annual Audits, Reviews, and Compilations

o Retirement and 401(k)/ERISA audits

o Written correspondence for Federal and State tax authority notices

• Research tax issues and monitor Federal and State legislation

• Assist in the development and training of staff

• Present at internal training sessions

Qualifications

• CPA license

• 2-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm

• Experience with business valuations a plus

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple client engagements

• Outstanding organizational and time management skills

• Ability to effectively delegate work as needed

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills

• Attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
