We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets using various tools and techniques; turning data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deep analysis of large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Work closely with cross-functional team leads to understand business requirements and data needs
  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Work with management to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and measure the success of specific initiatives
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions
  • Develop predictive models and design data-driven experiments
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement data architectures and pipelines
  • Ensure that data accuracy and security requirements are met
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data systems
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the software industry and apply them to data analysis
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in data analysis or business intelligence analysis, ideally in the software industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong proficiency with AWS technologies such as S3, Redshift, EMR, and Athena
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with programming languages such as Python or R
  • Experience with data governance, data security, and data privacy regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple projects at once
