Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in building Enterprise Data Services policy management strategies
• Assist in employing data protection strategies to applicable end users via partnership with technology (data teams and CIOs), the office of the CDAO, business support units, and other key stakeholders
• Support building and managing a data policy and supporting framework, including verifying policy related issues are governed, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner
• Assist in identifying appropriate assessment, action plan, and monitoring activities with all stakeholders
• Partner with Information Security and other applicable organizational areas to align, measure, and remain compliant with data protection strategies
• Partner with business and technology on data security strategies and classification rules and practices to enable the appropriate protection and access of our data
• Partner with first and second lines of defense operations to support measurement of policy compliance and data protection requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Assist in documenting processes and procedures
• Assist in executing security self assessments
• Identifying risk, controls and gaps

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree
• 5+ years of experience managing policies and frameworks and/or experience in risk management, Data Security or compliance
• 3 years of experience in a data management
• Experience working with information security domains and employing data protection strategies and solutions
• Technical experience with data protection tools
• Microsoft Visio or iGrafx Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of policy and framework governance structures within a financial institution
• Practical application of a data governance policy and supporting framework structure at a financial institution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Business outcome focused
• Demonstrated perseverance
• Certifications: CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM
• DCAM - Data Management Capability Assessment Model Experience
