Job description

We are looking for a Senior DevOps engineer with a good knowledge of AWS services and Linux, who wants to work in multi-functional agile teams to experiment, iterate and deliver on new product objectives.

Responsibilities

Build efficient and scalable system infrastructure
Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve
Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
Manage CI and CD tools with team
Document and design various processes; update existing processes
Provide technical guidance and educate team members and co-workers on development and operations

Who we are looking for

3+ years of working experience as a DevOps engineer
Strong experience working with AWS cloud
Proficiency with Linux, command-line scripting
You have a solid understanding of data security practices
Experience with CI/CD tooling
Understanding of monitoring and alerting (new Relic, DataDog, Rapid7, CloudWatch)
Managing production infrastructure with CloudFormation, Ansible etc.
Experience working on teams with emphasis on DevOps, Automation, CI/CD, and Quality (e.g. CircleCI, Docker, Jenkins)
BSc/MSc in Computer Science
Some experience dealing with PHP (Laravel), Java, JavaScript (NodeJS, Angular) very beneficial

Non-technical skills

Strong English language skills
You are a constant learner, easily adapting to a fast-paced environment.
You are self-driven and independent but you are not afraid to ask if you don’t know.
