The Senior Disability Management Consultant oversees the workers’ compensation (WC) program for the organization. Acts as a liaison between internal partners and third-party administrator to review records and investigate claims. Serves as the point of contact for injured staff and guides them through the WC process. Partners with multiple lines of business, to successfully administer LOA, FMLA programs and assists in the evaluation of current offerings. Responsible for reviewing current process flow and making enhancements as appropriate. This is a Hybrid work schedule.

- Serves as the liaison and manages the relationship between the TPA and staff/manager for WC requests
- Partners with Employee Health Services team regarding medical management of the WC claims
- Collaborates with various service lines to develop new policies and practices, and to resolve complex situations. Counsels leaders on administering WC and leave policies.
- Develops training and educational materials for managers, timekeepers, and staff. Delivers presentations as necessary
- Leads quarterly claims review meetings with TPA, Legal Counsel, EHS and the Disability team
- Audits FML to ensure running concurrent with WC lost time
- Utilizes data and applies cost analysis to compare and evaluate risk and experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Lawson, Kronos, Sedgwick a plus.
- Demonstrates professional, sound judgment.
- Project management experience a plus.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated proficiency in workers compensation, disability, FMLA, STD and LTD regulations.
- High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
