Primary responsibilities:
In the role of Senior Electrical BIM Specialist, we'll count on you to:
- Create electrical drawings for facilities such as lighting systems, power systems, communications, security and fire detection in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Perform basic system calculations, drawing production, some master specification editing and assistance developing take-offs and quantities for construction estimating.
- Perform assignments utilizing standard engineering techniques and procedures under the supervision of a licensed professional
- As a fully experienced, competent design technician, direct the efforts of less-experienced BIM Technicians as needed
- Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience
- Strong computer skills in Revit
- Other skills desired include AutoCAD, MicroStation and Microsoft Office
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in designing electrical lighting, power and systems for building projects
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required

The expected compensation range for this position is $80,157 - $130,125 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
