Due to the continued success and subsequent growth of Logitech globally, we are growing our teams right across the business. Our EMEA VAT team currently has an opening for an experienced EMEA Senior VAT Advisor who is eager to learn and develop their career further within this space while collaborating with the wider EMEA team and can also work independently in an efficient manner, take ownership of the VAT compliance process, and understand how VAT interacts with the rest of the business.

Prepare/review VAT returns (monthly, quarterly, bi-monthly VAT returns, VIES, Intrastat returns) within the EMEA region.
File VAT returns and ensure payment is made
Manage all correspondence with the tax authorities and external auditors
Perform month end closing and draft the VAT reconciliation papers
Actively identify, manage, and mitigate any potential VAT risks
Prepare and maintain the internal compliance processes up to date
Implement VAT determination rules for EB Tax as well as support in the Customer and Vendor configurations for Oracle
Monitor VAT legislation and ensure that the changes are reflected in the VAT compliance processes
Provide the VAT relevant input for global projects and coordinate with the external tax advisors as needed
Participate in any ad-hoc tax tasks as required by the business.
Qualifications
We are looking for a special individual with the following skills:
Relevant degree in accounting with proven VAT compliance experience covering multiple countries within the EMEA region, preferably gained while working in a multinational environment
Proficiency with Oracle (with EBTax a plus) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
A self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced environment while at the same you can integrate within the wider Logitech teams
Support the stakeholders with the data needed within the agreed deadlines and establish themselves as a reliable adviser to the business.
Highly motivated, organized and flexible individual with strong attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Any additional language is a plus
