EVO offers end-to-end support from installing the point of sale device to enable secure electronic payments at a merchant, providing software solutions to enable ecommerce and then troubleshooting and resolving issues that may occur from time to time for our customers.

We are currently recruiting a Financial Accountant to join our expanding team based Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin. This role reports to the Financial Accounting Director.

Job Duties:

• Prepare, analyse, interpret and deliver accurate UK financial reports and information for group management reporting
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of transactions in the UK general ledger, in accordance with US GAAP, internal accounting policies, local legislation and accounting standards
• Lead audit and corporation tax processes of the UK businesses
• Complete UK entity balance sheet recs, ensuring all are clean and followed up to resolution
• Implement and maintain a robust set of financial controls (including SOX) for the UK businesses
• Become a leader within the Finance team, ensuring excellent processes are developed, documented and maintained
• Lead the finance transformation programme with the future on-boarding of new entities within the local financial reporting team
• Show commitment to the adoption of right first time and continuous improvement practices to improve the finance function
• Build strong business interaction and communications with internal customers
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

• Qualified accountant with minimum two years’ experience (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
• Bachelor’s degree in business accounting
• Knowledge of Fintech/payments industry an advantage
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Knowledge of MS AX desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
