Job Description


The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for driving and implementing an HR Strategy that closely supports business goals and strategy for designated business units. The Senior HRBP has a keen understanding of the business’s strategy, providing dynamic solutions using experience, data analyses, and organizational agility to guide decision making.

This role provides consulting and coaching to business leaders in order to support the business unit’s and improve performance.

This role drives individual, team, and organizational performance by connecting HR efforts and initiatives to business goals and building HR programs, policies, and initiatives.

About the team:

You will be part of an immediate team of 8 HR Professionals reporting into the head of the HR Partners within an extended HR team of 35.

The position is based preferably in Dublin or Toronto but Stamford, Paris, Zurich can be considered.

Please note this is a hybrid role - which requires the incumbent to work at our office location 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)

About the Role:

  • Support the growth and development of your functional area with employees from 40 to 200, located across multiple geographies (Canada, Switzerland, Singapore, Stamford Connecticut, Bermuda)
  • Guide and advise the Executive Leadership Team in charge of the functions within your remit on creating trust and engagement to ensure HR is effectively engaging and supporting the business.
  • Align HR strategies and initiatives to the business objectives. Promote a robust performance management, succession and development planning process including annual reviews, coaching and career development.
  • Provide guidance to the senior leadership team regarding change management on key organizational development initiatives and projects.
  • Provide pragmatic, consistent guidance to the management and employees on all aspects of employee relations.
  • Work with other HR Functions – Staffing & Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits to design and execute robust recruitment, retention & development plans
  • Lead enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications


About you:

  • You bring 15 years of experience in HR in a generalist role
  • You are used to work in a matrix with international team
  • You will be able to demonstrate how you build highly effecting and trusting relationships with all levels of the organisation
  • You understand how to engage and influence senior leaders and other key stakeholders in order to drive business results.
  • You have strong business acumen, be empathetic, have excellent listening skills and have a high level of integrity.
