Job Title: Sr SAP Indirect Tax & Vertex Implementer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (3 days onsite)

Hire Type: Fulltime

Required Skills:

Essential:

• Strong business process knowledge and expertise
• 5-7 years’ experience SAP > Vertex O Series (preferably version 9.0) integration experience
• Direct hands-on configuration experience Vertex Accelerator
• Candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience of SAP FI Tax Configuration, Tax Procedure and MM Pricing Procedure
• Candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience of supporting Canadian and US tax requirements Canada
• Candidate will also have implemented SAP tax solutions for multiple countries
• Good understanding of SAP ABAP: the candidate will be comfortable with ABAP concepts and principles. Ideally, they would have some debugging knowledge.
• Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and present a concise recommendation for resolution
• Ability to translate the business requirement to technical requirements vice versa and effectively communicate to a broad audience
• Someone with initiative who holds themselves to high standards and can work with minimal direct supervision
• Ability to manage developments in an organization where individuals that you are relying on do not report directly to you
• Strong communication skills: in writing as well as in presenting to senior leadership and client Agencies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Desirable:

• Ability to influence decisions and be a strong collaborator
• Strong accounting experience
• Hands-on configuration experience of SAP Purchasing, LIV, Material Master, and FI AP
• Good understanding of Fiori/web dynpros/user portals
• Worked as a super user or a Global Process Owner in a large international corporation.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $150,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
