About the role

As a Senior Innovation Manager, your aim is to develop and deliver a robust pipeline of branded Marketing Innovation and the growth objectives of our Key Power / Drive Brands. You deliver specific Innovation Projects from the Innovation Funnel from Insights through to Launch readiness and manage the Monthly Innovation Meeting to ensure Gate Process discipline and compliance.

So what will I be doing?

• You’ll use consumer insight to create a pipeline of innovation opportunities which support & fuel the Dairy Consumer Foods Business Strategy & the growth objectives of our key Power / Drive Brands.
• You’ll work with the Innovation & Sustainability Marketing Manager to ensure we have a clear Innovation Strategy & innovation pipelines / funnels in place across priority Brands
• You’ll develop of strong consumer concepts & propositions, validated through consumer insight testing
• You’ll translate of consumer concepts into winning commercial propositions via robust Business Cases
• You’ll actively manage the innovation pipeline to ensure short & long-term Brand and Commercial needs / targets are met
• You’ll influence the Commercial Organisation to deliver the Innovation agenda and ensure the Innovation Engine is firing on full cylinders
• You’ll be responsible for in-market success rate of Branded NPD concepts / NPD launches and outside/In Innovation inspiration, learnings & key success criteria / guardrail development
• You’ll inspire and nurture initiatives which encourage a more 'innovative' organisational culture & approach

What do I need to be successful?

In Kerry we understand that people have very different career trajectories and experiences. In order to be successful in this role we would be looking for the right competencies and aptitudes as well as your proven track record of success in Innovation Management.

These include:

• Degree Qualified
• Strong levels of knowledge & experience of following an innovation / stage gate process (from insight through to launch readiness)
• Previous experience in a Brand Marketing / Innovation Role within an FMCG Environment
• Development and delivery of insights into action to influence the innovation pipeline, funnel & NPD concepts
• Relevant innovation delivery and successful in market launch examples
• Solid experience of proposition development and concept writing
• Cross-functional teamwork and collaboration to achieve Business outcomes
• Appreciation and understanding of market research techniques used to validate innovation concepts and propositions along the NPD development journey
• Track record of successful stakeholder management, influencing and strong project management skills
