Position Title: Senior IT Support Specialist

Location: Dublin, Ireland or London, UK


KBRA is seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist to join its growing technology team. This role can be located either in our Dublin, Ireland or London, UK office. It is a new role and will be an addition to our growing world-wide IT Support Team. Occasional travel to our US-based offices may be expected for training purposes. Routine travel to current and future EU/UK-based locations will be required. This is a hybrid role which will require 3 core days in the office (Tuesdays through Thursdays) with the other 2 days as a remote work option. Upon occasional emergencies, expectations to report to the office in-person may be required on non-core days.


About the Job


You will be our sole on-site support technician responsible for the day-to-day support for our Dublin & London offices (20+ employees in each location and growing). You will assist with onboarding/offboarding employees, video conference setups, and troubleshooting system/network/infrastructure issues when needed. You will act as first level support for KBRA EU/UK, whether our users are remote or on-site. A focus on remote support for our US-based employees is required (400+ employees). You will maintain our internal IT Support ticket queue along with the rest of the team and be responsible for immediately escalating issues to their appropriate team(s) when required. You will also be willing to assist EU/UK employees during emergency situations, which may be outside of typical work hours when required and available.


About You


You can work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Detail oriented, project management focused. Strong problem solving, analytical, communication skills and have working experience and familiarity with the following processes, technologies & qualifications:


  • 4+ years of experience working in IT support in a corporate environment required
  • Computer Science degree/work experience or similar required
  • Ability to configure/setup workstations/desks, participate in office moves/relocations required
  • Windows 10/Office 365 installation & troubleshooting experience required
  • Active Directory experience and understanding of Group Policy, DNS, DHCP required
  • Strong understanding of basic networking/system troubleshooting required
  • Strong understanding and experience with ticketing systems/escalation protocols required
  • MDM/VPN experience required
  • Vendor/Project Management experience required
  • Familiarity with security applications/processes preferred
