The School of Nursing and Midwifery of the National University of Ireland, Galway is a dynamic, innovative, research active School with vibrant teaching and research programmes. The School invites applications for a Senior Lecturer in General Nursing (Type A), Temporary Fixed Term Contract circa 12 months, 0.2FTE. Effective from 1st November 2022 (or as near as possible thereafter).

As a Senior Lecturer, you will be expected to take a leadership role in furthering the scholarship of curriculium development and course design in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. The ability to inspire, motivate and connect with colleagues and other stakeholders e.g., clinical partners is essential.

Applicants should have appropriate professional and academic qualifications, substantial experience of teaching, leadership and curriuclium development at third level and a well-established expertise and portfolio of teaching, research and clinical credibility in nursing.

Salary
€72,462– €102,687p.a. pro rata. (Applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011)
(This appointment will be made on the Senior Lecturer scale in line with current Government pay policy)
