SENIOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Evendale Bakery – Evendale, Ohio

Non-Exempt Position

2nd Shift: 2pm – 10pm, 3rd Shift: 10pm – 6am

Hours may vary and are subject to change based on production needs.

The Senior Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs production equipment, facility equipment, and the facility to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Repairs must be made in a timely manner while following safety and food safety procedures and rules. This position will also be involved in the training and development of Maintenance Technicians.

What we are looking for:

• Trade School Certificate or equivalent schooling required as well as a minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance position;
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot problems with equipment and find solutions to repair the equipment to get back to running production;
• Ability to read prints, drawings, and diagrams and use them to maintain and repair the equipment;
• Must be able to make recommendations for improvements to the equipment and processes;
• Must be able effectively communicate with the maintenance, production, quality, and sanitation personnel.

What you will do:

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment during production and non-production hours as scheduled;
• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems;
• Design and fabrication of specialty needed items;
• Direct work projects for outside vendors;
• Maintain electrical power systems including transformers, circuit protecters, and switch gears;
• Troubleshoot discrete and analog IO, limit switches, pressure switches, proximity switches, and process sensors;
• Troubleshoot PLC hardware and download and upload programs into PLCs and HMIs;
• Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and mechanical transmission systems;
• Assist in the development of PMs and technicians;
• Other duties as assigned.
