Title: Principal Program Manager

Job Description Summary
Forcepoint is seeking a qualified Senior Program Manager responsible for managing an Insider Threat business area to include multiple program managers and engineers. This manager will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to deliver on-time and high-quality software products that align with business goals. Will support the company’s strategy to develop an improved project management process and implement the tactics associated with that philosophy and vision. Will serve as liaison between Customers and Engineering and be experienced in managing all aspects of project planning, execution, funding, and customer satisfaction. Will work with senior leadership to develop integrated strategy for business area.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Direct Insider Threat business area to include successful program execution and business area growth.
  • Responsible for managing revenue forecast for business area.
  • Maintain staffing targets driven by program requirements, minimize attrition, and follow-through during the hiring & onboarding process.
  • Proactively align organizational structure with business and sales pipeline requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in project management is required.
  • Must have an active (currently in use) TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Must reside in the National Capital Region within Maryland, Washington D.C. or Virginia.
  • This position will require access to information that is subject to the U.S International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The applicant must have the ability to obtain the appropriate work authorizations that may be required under U.S. ITAR or EAR regulations from the applicable U.S government agency.
  • Project Management experience must include using planning and scheduling tools.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be capable of leading and successfully working with individuals from different disciplines and experience levels.
  • Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience working on government contracts preferred.
  • PMP certification is desired.

Educational Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or other related field is required. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
