Position Summary

Reporting to Finance Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial and operational reporting and analysis for our three California Almond processing facilities. This position, as part of a full network of Finance professionals will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement in key areas of performance including productivity, capital investments and cost improvement projects validation. The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as the primary contact for developing and maintaining the various operational reports and analysis required by Local and Global leadership teams, as well as coordinating with local management to deliver commentary on variances to budget, prior year and forecast. This incumbent must be able to manage multiple competing demands in a dynamic environment with partners onsite, as well as across Olam Americas.

Position Responsibilities

• Generate reliable financial statements reporting the business operations.
• Prepare and analyze various financial and operational reports for Management and Global Olam operations.
• Lead the implementation for standardized reporting initiatives developed by US and Global leadership.
• Prepare and coordinate monthly reporting and forecasting to be used in decision making.
• Develop and provide key analysis on manufacturing activities, including activity-based costing, gains/losses on production yield, and plant efficiency
• Provide support for internal and external audits processes.
• Actively participate in the preparation of the annual budget.
• Provide assistance and feedback to other team members in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with majors in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• Four (4) years' experience in a finance or accounting role is required. Experience should include a sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Microsoft Office skills are required, advanced level of Excel knowledge is preferred.
• Previous work experience navigating a modern ERP system is required; SAP experience is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork, relationship building, and coordinative skills are required. Must be able to work with diverse team across geographies.
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, presentation, and listening, are required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills are required.
• Ability to travel ~25% to our Hughson, CA locations.

The pay for this role in the state of California ranges from $81,000 - $105,000 and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location. Actual pay within this range may be determined based on a candidate's experience, qualifications and/or other determining factors.
