We Care About Your Engagement

In this exciting and strategic role will be responsible for the internal ICT networks used to operate & maintain the building. They will be responsible for installing & monitoring network hardware, troubleshooting issues, maintaining network security & supporting network end-users.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Routine management & maintenance of our internal Cisco & Cisco Meraki networks.
  • Installation, commissioning & testing of new network hardware & software.
  • Identify, resolve or escalate technical issues with the network hardware & software.
  • Evaluate, test & apply critical vendor updates to the network hardware & software.
  • Provide on-site support & assistance to network users.
  • Manage & prioritise internal service requests, escalating to Senior Network Engineer where required.
  • Prepare & review IT change control documentation with key stakeholders.
  • Review device security & event logs to identify potential issues or threats.
  • Create, maintain & regularly review network configuration, documentation & backups.
  • Complete regular visual inspections of the installed network hardware.
  • Work alongside Maintenance Team to support BMS / OT network operation.
  • Work alongside Security Team to support Security network operation.

Your expertise includes:

Excellent working knowledge of networking & security technologies including:

  • Cisco Enterprise Switching & FirePower Security Appliances
  • Cisco Meraki Wired & Wireless Networking Solutions
  • Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls
  • PRTG Network Monitor
  • Microsoft Windows & Office 365

Detailed knowledge of wired & wireless LAN architectures & protocols.

Good written & verbal communication, strong documentation skills.

Proven troubleshooting & analytical skills.

Ability to work independently in a busy operational environment.

Able to demonstrate strong team working & interpersonal skills.

Your skills and attitude:

  • Strong Cisco background, CCNA certification preferable (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience of managing operational network security.
  • Previous experience of managing & troubleshooting critical wired & wireless networks.
  • Previous experience of working in a datacentre environment.
  • Previous experience with 3CX IP Telephony would an advantage.
  • Previous experience with Schneider EcoStruxure would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience with ForeScout Zero Trust Security solutions would be an advantage.
  • CSCS or ECS card for construction site access would be an advantage (training provided if not).

Salary: €55,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
