The below job opportunity is to one of Our clients is an American telecommunications company headquartered in Monroe, Louisiana, that offers communications, network services, security, cloud solutions, voice, and managed services.

Job Description:

• Resolves routine trouble tickets.
• Strong working knowledge and experience in Ethernet and IP Layer 1 and 2, communications (IPv4, IPv6, routing protocols).
• Technical knowledge and experience on contemporary technologies (e.g. MPLS, TDM, Ethernet, eLAN-eLine, TCP/IP, BGP, QoS, IP, etc.).
• Proactively monitor and respond to and resolve network alarms and customer opening tickets for issues with circuits.
• Perform circuit and equipment/network restoration, recognize potential jeopardy conditions and notify management and Program Office with risk potential and impact assessments.
• Management of circuits Ethernet & IP), perform testing as well.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years related experience in specific area or equivalent.
• May require technical certification.
