The Senior Product Engineer is responsible for execution of administrative, engineering/technical and sales functions in support of the goals established for the Power Center’s manufacture of high quality products including Power Distribution, Control Equipment and Aftermarket Products.
Eaton’s ESSG PDCAD Power Distrib Control Assy Div division is currently seeking a Senior Product Engineer.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $77249.97 - $113299.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:
Prepare Bills of Material and CAD drawings, including control schematics and wiring diagrams, which shop personnel follow to build into a completed product meeting the customer requirement- Maintain engineering schedule to ensure drawings are released and parts are ordered in time to support the Production build schedule
- Maintain good working relationships with Power Center Production team, Product Applications Engineers, Supply Chain, customers, distributors and Eaton Sales personnel in support of a quality customer service effort
- Stay abreast of Eaton technical product developments through training or other means
- Act as the technical resource in support of Engineering and Production teams
- Act as backup to the Product Applications Engineer in the product line to provide technical support to the customers and engineers
- Support Warranty Technician and investigate warranty requests to determine root cause and solution to help customer
- Actively drive and participate in a culture of “Safety First” and “Continuous Improvement”
- Support product line quality improvement actions
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution

Three (3) years of applicable engineering experience in a manufacturing setting

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Relocation Assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside of a 50-mile radius of Wilsonville, OR
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution

Three (3) years of experience working with relay logic, controls, schematics, and/or PLCs

Experience designing and applying power distribution and/or motor control equipment
