Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare technical MCP reports (IRA, RAM, Phase I to Phase IV, Temporary/Permanent Solution) as Licensed Site Professional (LSP)
- Support emergency response efforts as LSP, requiring occasional off-hours and weekend work.
- Prepare work plans, cost estimates, permits, and other technical documents related to environmental investigations and remedial actions
- Communicate with regulators, client contacts, and other related parties to facilitate project execution
- Coordinate technical staff and subcontractors relative to project task execution including drilling, remedial soil excavation, groundwater monitoring, soil gas sampling, indoor air monitoring, and spill response,
- Responsible for project health and safety
- Responsible for project documentation
- Mentor and train junior level staff
Minimum Requirements:
- BA or BS in a related field
- 10+ years experience
- Must be a MA Licensed Site Professional
- Familiarity with ENFOS, Massachusetts 21J program, CAD, and/or GIS a plus
- Experience with SPCC Plans, EPCRA Tier II and/or radon sampling/system design a plus
- Current OSHA HAZWOPER training
Technical Requirements:
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and PDF compilation software
- Strong writing and project management skills
- Versed in the requirements of the Massachusetts Contingency Plan and associated guidance
Other miscellaneous qualities:
- 10% travel
- Telecommuting/Flexible work schedule negotiable
