Senior Sourcing Manager - Real Estate & Facilities
Expedia's Global Procurement Group is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager for an individual contributor role with specific experience in Construction, Real Estate and Facilities, and Physical Security, primarily focused on Americas region.You will build positive relationships with stakeholders, owning and running activities that facilitate supplier engagement and selection, effectively negotiate agreements, drive supplier management efforts that result in cost savings, performance, and process improvements for the stakeholders and Procurement team.
In this role, you will partner with Real Estate and Physical Security teams to lead the end-to-end sourcing process, define and clarify requirements, identify and qualify suppliers, drive the RFx process, conduct evaluations, lead contract negotiation and execution, lead and coordinate contract language changes between internal and external parties, and provide the business with subject matter expertise and value through data-driven analysis and strategic supplier management actions.
What you'll do:
Understand and perform strategic category management, identify data and research resources for the industry, track competitive landscape, identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities
Run sourcing and contracting on full range of projects from transactional to complex, spanning all types of category goods and services
Partner with internal teams to define requirements, assist with identifying suppliers, lead RFx process and evaluations; provide supplier evaluation framework; and make recommendations on supplier selection
Draft, redline, and negotiate commercial components ofgoodsand service contracts, construction agreements, amendments, statements of work, and software as a service agreements
Conduct analysis and coordinate key stakeholder participation (Legal, Risk, Tax, Information Security, Finance) as needed, supporting administrative and compliance processes
Facilitate and provide input for initiatives spanning multiple geographies, developing solutions and standards that address challenges happening across our office footprint
Manage a portfolio of projects, ranging from large critical initiatives to transactional,and support other business-related activities as directed by leadership
Build, communicate, and implement sourcing project work plans and timelines. Identify supporting efforts, dependencies, andbarriers. Identify any sourcing issues androutinelycommunicate progress
Handle administrative processes and activity reporting as needed to support projects and act as trusted advisor to the team
Who you are:
8+ years of experience (global preferred) in two or more of these areas: Real Estate, Facilities, Construction, Physical Security, with relevant certifications preferred
Experience moving from transactional and reactive approach to strategic and proactive category solutions.
Bachelors or Masters in businessor relevant fieldor equivalent related professional experience
High level competence in core Strategic Sourcing and Procurement subject areas
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to managemultiplepriorities and varying levels of ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
Strong business acumen, analytical skills,organized withattention to detail
Command of process and policy aspects, with project managementunderstandingand proven program implementation experience
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to engage and influence at all levels
Great collaborator who can also work independently while prioritizing your work and timelines
Capable of distilling key points from abstract concepts and effectively presenting to stakeholdersand leadership
Ability to work successfully across matrix of stakeholders
Ability to handle time to completeactivity deadlinesoptimally and efficiently
The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $ $138,500 to $194,000 . Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $221,500 , which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
The total cash range for this position in Austin is $146,000 to $204,500 . Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500 , which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
