RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Tax Accountant in Mahwah, New Jersey (NJ). This person is responsible for providing financial analysis, accounting, and reporting to support the Accounting supervisor in accordance with established systems, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Federal and State corporate income tax compliance
• Tax provision analysis
• Tax returns filing
• Quarterly estimated payments
• Transfer Pricing Study
• Tax planning
• Managing outside tax firms
• Property tax
• Supervise staff accountant to maintain full compliance with all sales and use tax filing requirements and renew all required business registrations and licenses through an outside firm

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Tax Accounting, General Accounting, or Finance required
• 5+ years of relevant experience demonstrating progressive responsibilities and knowledge in tax compliance
• Systems proficiency-SAP and Sovos
• PC proficiency - Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required to effectively perform the job

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
