Job description

We are seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to join our team at our structural steel fabrication shop. As the Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of steel fabrication projects. This includes overseeing fabrication work, ensuring quality control standards are met, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:
Planning and coordinating fabrication projects
Oversee and assist with fabrication work to ensure that it is completed according to specifications and meets quality control standards
Maintain a safe and productive work environment by ensuring that safety policies and procedures are followed
Assist in training and mentoring employees
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural steel fabrication
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
Experience in welding, cutting, and fabrication processes
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices
