Significant Incident Report (SIR) Supervisor

Summary:
The Significant Incident Report (SIR) Supervisor is responsible for the completion and reporting of significant incident reports by the SIR Team. The supervisor will actively promote a culture of safety, proactive risk management, program excellence, and on-going regulatory readiness.
Essential Functions:
- Work closely with the Assistant Director for Behavioral Health, and other directors, to communicate incidents and reports
- Ability to work in a high stress environment with sensitive cases
- Understand the procedures for significant incidents, including sexual abuse and harassment
- Delegate tasks to appropriate team members
- Manages deadlines and complies with timelines
- Oversees the delivery of appropriate documentation and submittal of reports
- Collects and analyzes feedback from outside entities
- Expedites case assignments
- Responsible for managing the implementation and ongoing compliance with ORR and licensing standards on all significant incident reporting, client incident reports and client request forms.
- Respond to all ORR requests
- Compile data and create reports as necessary
- Create and provide guidance for staff and children on SIR safety procedures, i.e.: training, webinars, and reports
- Outgoing communication different entities such as medical, legal, state licensing, and law enforcement professionals
- Follow up with staff and UCs on reported incidents
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to document processes and perform record keeping
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving abilities to correct any challenges or inefficiencies
- Patience, tolerance, and kindness
- Prioritize and organize responsibilities and duties efficiently
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, a background check, and provide proof of being fully vaccinated for Covid-19 after accepting a conditional offer of employment.
