Job Summary

As a M&C Dispatch/Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for working in a fast-paced high-stress environment where you will be receiving calls for information, maintenance assistance, or emergency and non‐emergency requests notifying necessary individuals. You will also assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
• Keep records and compile stock reports through JD Edwards.
• Efficiently receiving, delivering, storing, rotating, and shipping department stock, taking and completing requisition requests efficiently to ensure that company values and goals are achieved daily.
• Receive emergency and non‐emergency calls from park personnel via telephone and monitored radio systems.
• Notifies and dispatches appropriate individuals based on the information received.
• Utilizes technology such as:
  • Computers
  • Radio Systems
  • Telephones
  • Fax Machines
  • Other Essential Communication Equipment
• Creates and maintains automated or manual logs of applicable communication activity.
• Creates and schedules detailed work orders utilizing TMA after receiving work requests through iService Desk.
• Creates and schedules detailed work orders utilizing TMA after receiving work requests via telephone.
• Maintains equipment, personnel, and inspection lists within TMA and other online databases.
• Distributes reports to leadership on the efficiency of the work orders and inspections in TMA.
• Maintains ride assignments and downtimes, schedules and closes ride assignments using Mobaro.
• Prepare deliveries of products, supplies, equipment, or other items for locations by lifting, pulling, stacking, and organizing orders as necessary within an allotted time for completion.
• Ensure that all assigned areas, shops, tools and equipment are clean and visually in compliance with Silver Dollar City standards.
• Assists with key issuing, and record keeping of key issues and returns.
• Management reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds (assisted).
• Must be able to tolerate a year-round outdoor environment; cold and hot temperatures.
• Ability to withstand heights, climbs stairs, walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to remember locations, understand and carry instructions.
• Ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, concrete.
• Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.

• Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1 year of previous maintenance warehouse/dispatcher experience and/or experience in a Theme Park Industry setting.
  • Must have strong warehouse, logistics, and dispatching experience.
  • Must have general knowledge of radio operation, equipment and etiquette.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and a background check.
  • Must have basic computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards accounting and inventory software, TMA, Mobaro and Internet.
  • Must have a clear and understandable voice.
  • Must be able to work days, evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend instructions and communicate in English.
  • Must be to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Missouri Class E Driver's License or resident state equivalent.
  • Must be able to maintain calm and use wit in dealing with assignments and problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations in a high-stress work environment.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• 2 – 3 years of previous maintenance warehouse/dispatcher experience and/or experience in a Theme Park Industry setting.
• Basic understanding of general maintenance equipment.
• Proof of current certification(s) in any related field or equipment.

• Basic understanding of general maintenance equipment.
• Proof of current certification(s) in any related field or equipment.
• Proof of OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour course completion.
