Level/Salary Range: Salary Range $31,000 - 38,000 (including benefits)

Position Type: Full Time- 34 hours

Insurance Benefit $250 per month allowance for

HSA Benefit $50 per month HSA deposit group insurance

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This is an exciting and innovative job opportunity for someone who loves working with youth and desires to create change in the world around them. The Site Coordinator is an instrumental part of making Pro Deo run efficiently. He/she reports to the Program Director. The Site Coordinator may oversee special events that involve the teens, such as the teen art show, prom or gratitude projects. He/she will maintain in-person office hours 4 days a week during the school year and 3 days a week during the summer. The Site Coordinator directly leads the students in activities on a day to day basis. He/she maintains healthy relationships with the students through daily check-ins and encourages them to make healthy choices.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Build and maintain healthy relationships with students.
● Meet with the Program Director and Assistant Program Director on a regular basis.
● Lead and execute planned activities during programming.
● Coordinate special projects as assigned by the Program Director.
● Complete accident, injury and behavior reports when necessary.
● Supervise and administer student discipline in the after-school and Friday night program.
● Meet with volunteers to see where they best fit in the organization.
● Work with student ambassadors to show gratitude to donors, volunteers, and activity leaders.
● Notify youth mental health specialist of any urgent information pertaining to a student's well being.
● Log attendance, volunteer hours, and student contact info into case management software.
● Transport teens in the Pro Deo vans.
● Coordinate student transportation and maintenance as needed.
● Manage high school events and outreach as needed.
● Serve on a team to hire new staff members and conduct orientation.
● Work extra hours in an emergency situation.
● Assume additional responsibilities as requested by the Program Director.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

● Some college preferred
● Must be at least 21 years of age
● Clean driving record
● Class E Driver’s License (within 1 month of hire)

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

● Ability to create an ethical, non-discriminatory and safe work environment
● Ability to guide, train, direct and motivate others
● Ability to organize and supervise the activities of others
● Ability to maintain confidential information
● Mandatory reporting for “reasonable cause to suspect” cases when necessary
● Evidence of leadership roles; proficient communication skills; ability to use Google Drive; excellent customer service; knowledgeable in social media.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

A total of 34 hours will be worked each week on a schedule from the following hours of operation:

● Monday - Thursday from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm, and rotating Friday shifts from 4:00 pm -10:00 pm or after teens are dropped off.

● Summer hours are Monday - Thursday 11:00 am - 4:00 pm or after teens are dropped off, and rotating Friday shifts from 4:00 pm -10:00 pm or after teens are dropped off.

● The other hours will be completed at home or meetings with staff. The specific work schedule will be agreed upon with the Program Director and Executive Director.

Four Weeks of Paid Time Off: 1 week during spring break; 1 week during holidays; 1 week summer; 1 week of choice
