In this role, you will report to Director Site Services and will work closely with the Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel – and our customers – to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

Location: Cambridge, MA 02139

Schedule: 1st Shift 7:30AM - 4 PM

What we’re looking for

• Education: BA/BS in Science required
• Experience: In dept knowledge of lab environment, excellent time management, communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Collaboration Tool: Knowledge of Information intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel
• Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience of working in a laboratory environment.

• Good time management skills, ability to be flexible and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.

• Good problem-solving capabilities and confidence to react promptly to deliver the best service.

• Proven excellent customer service focus and ability to work collaboratively possible.

• Must be flexible, forward- thinking, motivated, and have the ability to act independently.

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In this role you will:

• Overall management co-ordination and responsibility for the day to day operational management of the Avantor Services team on our customer’ site.

• Responsible for health and safety requirements, training/compliance and line management of the Avantor staff to ensure delivery of a high-quality service to our customer.

• Liaise with other suppliers, senior stakeholders and the science community ensuring continuity of contracted services by measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• May provide oversight to lower-level supervisor(s).
