Residential Social Care Worker-Permanent & Relief Post Available;

Location: Sligo

We are seeking applications from Social Care Workers to work within a strong, already established team. We require candidates who can work in an inspiring way to support YP in our care in a residential setting. Your job will involve providing support for YP in the community, their academic, health, physical and emotional development.

Requirement:

• We require individuals who are enthusiastic, with matured attitude and excellent written and oral communication.

• Ability to engage and form a trusting relationship with YP who have been traumatized and ensuring that they are safeguarded.

• Ability to assess the needs of YP and to correctly plan and support them with a YP centred plan

• Ability to remain calm and manage self when faced with volatile and potentially violent situation. Candidate are expected to have their MAPA. training …

You will need a minimum of B.A in Social Care; Fetac Level 7, B.A in Applied Social Studies or equivalent
