Position: Social Services, MSW (Masters of Social Work)

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00AM - 5:00PM)

Job Duration: 13 Weeks of contract with an option to extend

Job Location: 8700 Beverly Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90048

Orientation: 12 hours Non-Billable

Job description- A Master of Social Work, or MSW, is a graduate degree that prepares social workers to pursue state licensure. MSW programs focus on clinical social work and come in many forms to meet the needs of students, such as online or advanced standing MSW programs.

Responsibilities-

• Plan, coordinate, manage and implement support packages to help clients deal with difficulties and overcome dependencies
• Interview service users and assess their current condition, needs, strengths and weaknesses
• Address each case as a unit and set tailored measurable goals
• Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
• Offer information and counseling on the best course of action during sessions
• Maintain accurate records and report on clients’ status.
