Compensation for this position will range from $90,000 - $125,000 depending on experience. This position will require the employee to be on-site in Colorado Springs, CO. Candidates must be able to work in Colorado Springs, CO.

SOFTWARE QA TEST & RELEASE ENGINEER

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Own and drive Common Software Test StrategyDevelop unit tests
• Own and drive Common Software Release StrategyDrive Software Quality, Standards and Common Build Environment
• Develop & Maintain Build Tools
• Train on Build Tools
• Develop Configuration Tool & Automation of Factory Acceptance Test process
• Maintain & Enhance Internal Testing FrameworkMaintain & enhance the internal testing framework

Maintain internal engineering server

• You will be the GitLab AdministratorMaintain GitLab / Manage GitLab issues

Monitor and drive open item resolution

• You will work on the maintenance and configuration of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), build tools, and new / existing internal toolsMaintain build environment: tools, compilers, etc.
• You will be responsible for tool configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and automation

Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or a related STEM Degree
• Experience in configuration of build tools such as make, gcc, and cross-compilers
• Familiarity GitLab
• Experience maintaining and configuring Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Python
• Linux / Linux Administration
• Development of code unit tests

Qualifications We Value:

• 3yrs experience
• Experience with building compiled languages such as C/C++
• Experience unit test frameworks such as pytest and GoogleTest
• Code management using Git
• Tool configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and automation (e.g. GitLab, VS Code, local server file maint, code release process, etc.)

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
