Special Education Teacher/ABA Therapist for SETTS position

$65 - $80 per hour

• License: NYS Certificate Students With Disabilities (Birth -2) and (Grades 1-6)

Job Description
We are seeking full time and part time experienced teachers with NYS Certificate, Students With Disabilities (Birth -2)(Grades 1-6) with ABA based teaching approach knowledge + to fill the role of (SEIT / SETSS) to provide 1:1 support for children towards reaching their IEP and ADL goals.

SETSS Teacher helps his or her student reach the goals listed on the student's IEP. SEIT/SETSS providers are responsible for communicating effectively and working collaboratively with the student's IEP team, family's members throughout the school year.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience working with children with autism any level

ABA based teaching approach knowledge

All children have special needs or learning difficulties and require moderate to significant support. Sessions will be conducted mostly at home settings or via remote teaching, however, as the role grows some session may occur in local private schools and preschools.

Candidate should have knowledge of working towards facilitating a child's participation in goal-oriented activities referenced in the IEP and other stated goals.
Work for a small team-oriented boutique practice, have access to supervision (on and off-site), team meetings, mentorship, in-services, educational materials and other professionals.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour
