Our Professional Services client is looking for an experienced Senior HR Manager to join their senior leadership team on a permanent basis. They are looking for someone who will take a hands-on approach and is prepared to ‘roll up their sleeves’ to drive the business forward. This is a stand-alone role, reporting in the COO with HR admin support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end to end recruitment process including the onboarding of new employees.
  • Assist with the employer branding and messaging to attract the best talent.
  • Provide market benchmarks on expected salary levels for new and existing staff. Propose competitive base and incentive pay programmes to ensure the business attracts and retains top talent.
  • Review and update the current performance review process and implement a standardised approach. Monitor performance reviews status to ensure that they are being conducted by line managers and the process is being adhered to.
  • Oversee internal learning and training programme with input from compliance specialists.
  • Solicit feedback from our employees on a regular basis, organise staff surveys and analyse employee feedback with the aim of creating a better working environment, an engaged culture and improving our retention.
  • Oversee complex employee relations issues such as grievance and disciplinary cases and manage difficult cases
  • Assist senior management in organisational design, talent management and succession options as the business continues to scale.
  • Update and review existing HR policies, procedures and ensure legal compliance is met in all HR activities.
  • Shape the strategic direction and execute on implementation of HR change initiatives.

Experience Required

  • min 5 years experience as HR Manager is a professional services firm.
  • Degree in HR or related field.
  • Up to date knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
  • Strong capability of aligning HR Strategy with Business strategy
  • Outstanding interpersonal, coaching and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritizes activity based on the needs of the business.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Project Management experious would be advantageous
