General Responsibilities:
Job purpose
- Deliver projects focused on Oracle cloud implementations and global rollouts.
- Provide support for Oracle Cloud ERP modules running on the Hertz Oracle Cloud platform
- Support month-end close activities
- Perform Oracle cloud module configurations and maintain configuration documentation
- Support integrations with Hertz internal applications and third-party vendors.
- Consult and advise Hertz business partners on strategic project objectives
- Provide project status reports to the Technology PMO
- Support audits
- Maintain SOX controls and audit documentation
- Create and maintain test scripts
- Providing testing support and proactive analysis of quarterly Oracle Cloud patching releases
- Provide L1/L2 support in troubleshooting incidents and logging service requests with Oracle support.
- Engage with the business users at various levels to understand business needs and translate findings into clearly defined business requirements documentation.
- Perform system integration testing and user acceptance testing and provide functional support to users
- Manage project scope and change requests
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or equivalent degree.
Professional Experience:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting patch releases for Oracle Cloud ERP in a techno functional role. Acceptable for a portion of prior experience to be in Oracle R12 or 11i eBusiness Suite.
- Expert level experience in at least 3 of the following modules: Payables, Receivables, Procurement, Contracts, General Ledger, Financial Accounting Hub, Assets, Project Financials, and Risk Management.
- Experience with FBDI and HDL integration between Oracle Cloud and boundary applications leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud and/or other middleware.
- Experienced in testing Oracle Cloud implementations/upgrades.
- Familiarity with working service requests with Oracle Support.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability with significant prior experience working to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Experience implementing large projects
- Ability to map applications to standard business processes
- Fluent in writing test scripts
- Ability to clearly describe end-to-end business processes and the key integration points, work cross-functionally across different business processes within an organization, and find solutions to overcome challenges faced by implementation teams.
- Adept at collaborating with technical development teams when addressing new implementations, functionality enhancements, performance issues or application updates
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present and articulate complex solutions to decision makers
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
- Ability to demonstrate innovative thinking, influencing and execution
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Oracle PaaS administration and/or Oracle Integration Cloud skills a plus
