The Structural Heart and Aortic Integrated operating unit offer minimally invasive approaches to restore proper structure and function of the heart and the aorta. We focus on the transcatheter replacement or repair of the four heart valves – aortic, pulmonic, mitral, tricuspid – and the placement of stent grafts to treat aneurysms and dissections of the body’s largest artery, the aorta.

. The role will require a self-motivated individual
with a
strong program management background to establish
and execute
a strategy for technical training of
a large and rapidly growing group of engineers and scientists across 5 global sites.

The role will be hybrid in nature and can have a
base at any of the
following MDT sites: Galway, Ireland, Santa Rosa, CA, Orange County, CA
, Minneapolis M
N, or Danvers MA.

A Day in the Life
The Senior Program Manager will have the opportunity to lead a global team to deliver and implement an engineering training strategy to meet the needs of our growing business.
  • Work closely with business and technical leaders to identify and manage training needs for high performing global product development teams to support the design and development of novel products
  • Develop and implement a training strategy to enhance the product development process to meet future business needs.
  • Establish program objectives, timelines, milestones, resources, and budget to meet business needs.
  • Work with external partners as needed to establish and deliver training and coaching programs.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing global team to deliver training strategy.
  • Ensure compliance to quality system requirements
  • Analyze and communicate Key Performance Indications (KPIs) to Senior Leadership
  • Grow and nurture cross site and cross functional relationships in a large, multi-site, matrixed organization.
  • React to changing business or regulatory conditions to implement targeted training where required
  • Collaborate on appropriate onboarding strategy for new technical staff
  • Support the innovation of next generation designs and novel applications in Structural Heart and Aortic therapies.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science or related field with 7+ years engineering, product development or program/project management experience
OR
Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science or related field with 5+ years engineering, product development or program/project management experience
Nice to Have
  • Medical device technology experience, ideally in interventional vascular devices
  • Proven track record in Program Management
  • Dynamic team player and leader that can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional global teams.
  • Proven influencer and someone who exhibit skills in driving large scale change initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Competent in stakeholder management.
